How is Synergy Licensed?

Synergy is licensed per computer that hosts the application. You can have unlimited users overall, but only one user per machine at any one time. So, you could have ten thousand people able to use Synergy on one computer for one license, but if you go to two computers you need to have two licenses and so on.

Note: If you use a Server or NAS device that holds the data but does not run the software, no additional license is required. Similarly there is no extra charge for remote access to a licensed computer.
